Captain's Log -- Earth Date 1 Jan 2005

Oh, It is a brand new year,　
let us hope that this coming year will be a peaceful one.
Well, let talk about something interesting then.

This blog will be split to into 2 language actually.
The content of each language will not be the same.
I hope to achieve different style in one blog.

So what would be in the english part, you may ask?
Well, anything under the sun I suppose.
I have not actually think of what to talk about.
Just goes along and see how.

The thing that everyone is talking about is the tsunami
of south asia. I think it would considered as a world disaster.
We always say have the technology even to detect planet outside of our solar system. Yet we can't even deal with our own.

I think we should push for more governments to provide
more effort into world peace rather than war.
Why spend so much effort in building a war machine?

Why don't we build some machine that help people from natural disaster.
How about providing some fresh water then?

I am glad that this time round singapore is providing portable desalination plant to support the people in the disaster area. This is the kind of direct assistance that is really benefit the people.
